arpadi® in use
Because arpadi® is a mobile software for Palm OS and Pocket PC, it can be used everywhere: in hospital, medical practice, on house calls, as well as by emergency services and paramedics.

How arpadi® works: Via the convenient user interface, first, the native language of the physician and that of the patient are activated – 13 languages that can be freely combined with one another! Over 400 formulations are then instantly available for the doctor-patient dialogue – with both visual output on the PDA display as well as studio-quality audio over the PDA loudspeaker.

Important: The formulations of questions, information, and instructions are systematically organized by subject and can be freely selected:
• Patient history
• Examination
• Diagnosis and information
• Medical care and instructions

In addition, arpadi® offers three additional clinically proven functions:
• Patient questions
• Rapid access to a picture dictionary
• Anatomy charts

And now for a concrete example! Your patient speaks, for example, only Russian, while you speak only English and French. Instead of trying to communicate by playing charades, switch on your PDA and start arpadi®.

Now click on the two native languages and arpadi® immediately offers more than 400 questions and formulations for the next treatment steps, in both the native language of the patient and in that of the physician.

Important: The questions and formulations are worded so that the patient can answer with short statements or with unmistakable gestures: nodding the head for "yes," shaking the head for "no," thumbs up for "better," thumbs down for "worse."
